Synapsis by Cosmic-Cuttlefish Synapsis by Cosmic-Cuttlefish
It is impossible to say just what I mean!
But as if a magic lantern threw the nerves in patterns on a screen:
Would it have been worth while
If one, settling a pillow or throwing off a shawl,
And turning toward the window, should say:
“That is not it at all,
That is not what I meant, at all.”
-- T.S. Eliot, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock

This one was fun to make... I think I'm gradually starting to understand how colour speed works. I was aiming to create a pattern that resembled nerves, hence the quote. :)

Made with Apophysis 2.09.

I think this is very nerve like...the dark background is a bit ominous (yipee for YOU!! lol.), a perfect field for the image.
Nice work.

Thank you very much; I'm glad you also see the nerve resemblance. I wasn't specifically aiming for ominous with this one, but I think the glow effect on the shapes makes the background look darker than it really is. :)

Thank you very much. The basic shape is fairly simple, but the whole thing actually has 16 transforms in total - as you can imagine, it took a while to get the colours to work. It was fun to make, though. :)

Behind simplicity there is often hidden complexity and vice versa :)

This is very nice! It would be nice to have the parameters for this!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I'll send you a note with the parameters. It's made with Apophysis 2.09, not 7X, if that makes a difference. I'm sorry if the triangles are disorganised or confusing - each one of the noise stars needed its own transform! Also, you'll need to have the 'csc' variation for the final transform to work. Let me know if you make anything interesting with it. :)
