There isn't anything especially deep or meaningful about this one - I was thinking about those colourful glass paperweights that people have, and wanted to try and create some using the technique from my geometric fractal flowers tutorial. I'm having a lot of fun trying out the various 3D options on Apophysis 7X at the moment.

Thanks Jess, I'm glad you like it. I can see what you mean - the ocean-like effect might be partly because of the dark blue background.

Sorry for the late reply, by the way. I'm on the Scilly Isles at the moment, and don't have much of an Internet signal. I'll make sure to take some photos, though. :)

Maybe...it is something else too...maybe some coral I have seen somewhere...or jellyfish? I can't pin it down.

Thanks. It took a while to get the colours to work - I ended up having to change the gradient quite a bit in ApoMap.
