Many thanks to ^SaTaNiA for the DD! I was very surprised and pleased when I found out this morning.

I had the idea for this fractal a few days ago. It's essentially a simple Spherical gasket, but taken from a strange angle, and with some added details. I was aiming to create both a mystical and a slightly mechanical effect, hence the title, which is taken from a Joe Satriani album.

Amazing 3 dimensional effect! You did the details so well that it's as if I can reach in and pick one up. The realism in here is done so well; being the light reflections on the silver orbs on each every one. I also love how the light seem to whirl pool in the orbs, almost hypnotically. It gives it that magical essence. I have to say, I can't stop looking at this piece. It's a wonderful realistic fantasy and the water to the right seems to be trying to escape the canvas, the 3 dimension is so great. Really brilliant.
